  18. I am having trouble with my CV64 S/N 80xxxxx, in an A3000T, WARP 4040 + 32MB,
  19. WB 3.1 (40.68), CyberGraphX 2.14, CVMon 1.33. I have the rev -11 Buster
  20. installed, but the older RAMSEY and DMAC chips. There is no FAST RAM on the
  21. A3000T motherboard (removed due to minor conflicts).

  23. The system randomly crashes with AlertPatch reporting errors like:

  39. This is a short list (what's in my static RAM drive at the moment), but also
  40. often includes stalwarts like CyberCron etc. This seems (to me) to indicate
  41. some kind of RAM corruption, though FASTCHECK seems to be happy with the 32MB
  42. installed.

  44. Removing the CV64 and replacing it with the GVP Spectrum removes 90% of the
  45. errors, making me suspect the CyberGraphX drivers/libraries (since some errors
  46. are still reported). However, the other possibility is that since both these
  47. cards are the only Z3 peripherals installed, with the CV64 being Z3 only (I
  48. also run the Spectrum in Z3 mode), the Z3 functionality of my system is still
  49. compromised somehow (regardless of Buster -11).

  51. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas that could be pertinent to trying to
  52. find out if I have a faulty CV64, a hardware conflict of some kind in the
  53. A3000T, or if it is just the software drivers.

  55. I have tried all sorts of things like "Setpatch NOAGA", "WARPKICK NOCACHEZ3"
  56. etc etc, removing patches and beta (and non-beta) software, changing Zorro slot
  57. positions, without any luck whatsoever.

  69. At the moment, I have the side of the A3000T removed, with a room fan playing
  70. directly into it. Closed up, the heat coming out of the PSU slots is scary (two
  71. HD's - one of them 5400rpm - DAT streamer, 32MB FAST, VLAB Motion, Toccata,
  72. TBCPlus, OpalVision, CV64 or Spectrum installed). The A3000T has two fans, and
  73. the CPU has it's own, but could the DMAC still be suffering from heat
  74. exhaustion?
